Evergreen Services arrived on site and completed an annual inspection of the 80% gas, forced hot water boiler located in the basement. Inspected the system wiring and operating components. The boiler is operating acceptably at this time.

The boiler would benefit from a deep cleaning, including removing and cleaning the burner tubes to clear accumulated dirt and debris. Recommend carbon monoxide testing after cleaning to verify safe operation.
Evergreen Services performed deep cleaning and maintenance on the 80% Burnham gas, forced hot water boiler. The boiler was shut down and allowed to cool before service. The burner assembly was removed and cleaned to clear dust, soot, and debris. The combustion chamber, heat exchanger surfaces, and accessible flue passages were cleaned and inspected for buildup, corrosion, or damage.

The burner assembly was reinstalled and checked for proper placement. The gas piping, ignition components, electrical connections, venting, and visible boiler components were inspected. The boiler was restarted and observed through an operating cycle to confirm proper ignition and operation. Carbon monoxide and combustion testing should be completed after cleaning to verify safe operation and confirm readings are within the manufacturer’s specifications. Took carbon monoxide testing five PPM recommend getting carbon monoxide detector downstairs above unit. Customer will reach out in the morning in regards to joining membership.
