Evergreen Services – Steam Boiler Visual Inspection

Evergreen Services arrived on site and put on shoe covers before entering the home. The steam boiler is located in the basement. Upon arrival, the thermostats were set five degrees above room temperature to call for heat.

Performed a visual inspection of the boiler, including the top of the unit, accessible wiring, and visible components. Checked for loose connections, damaged insulation, and signs of overheating. No burned or chewed wiring was observed during the visual inspection.
Evergreen Services – Steam Boiler Deep Cleaning

Evergreen Services performed a deep cleaning of the steam boiler located in the basement. The boiler was shut down and allowed to cool before the burner compartment was opened. The burners and accessible combustion surfaces were cleaned to remove accumulated dust, soot, and debris. The burner area, boiler jacket, and accessible surfaces around the top of the boiler were cleaned.

The technician visually inspected accessible wiring, burner components, vent connections, and the steam piping near the boiler for signs of damage, corrosion, or leakage. The sight glass and low water cutoff were inspected, and accessible service points were cleaned as applicable to the boiler’s configuration. After reassembly, the boiler was returned to operation and observed during a call for heat.
