Remove and dispose of existing water heater. Furnish and install one new 40-gallon natural gas water heater sized appropriately for the home’s hot water demand. Installation includes reconnecting existing water, gas, and venting connections as applicable, installation of new shutoff valves and safety components where required, reconnection of flue vent piping, startup, safety testing, and verification of proper operation. System will be checked for proper gas pressure, combustion, water temperature, and leaks to ensure safe and efficient performance. Includes haul away of old equipment and cleanup of work area.
