SUBJECT: Replacement of Existing Natural Gas-Fired High Efficiency Boiler for Central Heating and Domestic Hot Water with New Navien High Efficiency Natural Gas-Fired Hydronic Boiler 95% AFUE to be Installed in Place of Existing with One New Circulator and Piping as Needed to Connect to Existing Zones



DESCRIPTION:
Shut down existing boiler power.
Shut down existing water to boiler and drain.
Label piping to ensure proper wiring upon installation of new system.
Remove and dispose of existing Navien High Efficiency Combi Boiler.
Purchase and install one new Navien Combi Condensing High Efficiency Boiler
95% AFUE 199k Btu Modulating Natural Gas Fired. Model: NCB-240H
Purchase and install each of the following devices and piping for newly installed boiler to
meet local mechanical code:
1. Manifold Navien
2. Expansion Tank
3. Watts 911s9D x Press
4. 1 - Circulator 007E IFC Taco/Grundfos/Aqua-motion
5. 1 - Isolation Flanges (1-pair for each circulator)
6. Scale Inhibitor (Domestic Water Inlet) & Particle Filter (Return Line)
Purchase and install all necessary PVC Piping and Fittings to connect new boiler to existing 2” PVC Venting that is currently penetrating dwelling.
Existing Penetrations can remain and be used with new PVC Exhaust and Fresh Air intake.
Evergreen Services will use a two-pipe venting system to allow for exhaust outside of dwelling to be pointed in opposite direction of fresh air to ensure no contamination.
(Single pipe system may be used if existing and is installed per new manufacturers recommendations.)
Purchase and install all necessary Pro Press, Copper Piping, Valves, and fittings to connect newly installed Navien Boiler to existing supply and return.
Connect newly installed boiler to existing zone of Central Heating and Domestic Hot Water. Existing heat source throughout home is all to remain.
Purchase and install all necessary Line Voltage for newly installed boiler, circulator, and existing circulator control.
