Evergreen Services arrived on-site to perform annual heating maintenance on an approximately 11-year-old PurePro Advantage cast-iron, forced-hot-water oil boiler located in the garage. The system’s electrical wiring, safety controls, burner assembly, and accessible components were inspected. A visual evaluation was also completed, and the boiler and its components appeared to be in good overall condition at the time of service.
Evergreen Services will perform a complete tune-up on the oil-fired boiler. Service includes replacing the oil-tank filter, burner fuel-pump strainer, and oil-burner nozzle with properly sized replacement parts. The burner assembly, electrodes, ignition components, cad cell, blower wheel, motor, fuel pump, wiring, and safety controls will be inspected and serviced as necessary.

After replacement, the oil system will be bled to remove trapped air and all accessible fuel connections will be checked for leaks. The boiler will then be started and tested through a complete heating cycle. A smoke test and combustion analysis will be performed, and burner settings will be adjusted according to the equipment manufacturer’s specifications to confirm safe, clean, and efficient operation.
