Boiler Repair, Install & Replacement near Woodstock Drive in Warwick, RI

Evergreen Services called out to property for a gas smell possibly coming from boiler.
Customer had Rhode Island energy come out to property and technician thought the boiler was running rich and it could be letting out some gas if not firing correctly.
Upon arrival service expert found existing Weil McLain natural gas fire direct vent hydronic boiler.
Customer did advise that stainless steel venting concentric kit does allow water to get through fresh air line and into basement.
Customer keeps a bucket under the fresh air intake to catch any dropping water from heavy rain.
Service expert will return to install 5” 90 with new 3” 90 for inner z-vent.
Turned on boiler to test heating system.
Performed combustion test on Weil McLain boiler and parameters were average for the age condition of boiler.
Evergreen Services does not agree with Rhode Island energy technician that the boiler is running rich service experts opinion the boiler possibly short cycled causing the gas valve to open and then close possibly releasing some gas or more smell into the dwelling.
Also customer stated we have an energy did repair one natural gas leak that was found inside of dwelling.
Service expert will attach copy of combustion test.
Carbon monoxide or CO reading of 2 ppm.
Boiler efficiency reading of 87% AFUE.
ALL IS IN PROPER WORKING ORDER AT THIS TIME.
