1. Scope of Work

System Preparation: Isolate hydronic heating circuit, deep, pressurized, and

perform localized drain down of the affected zone.


Component Replacement:

Remove existing high vent and install a new heavy duty brass automatic release

on the air elimination set up.

Remove existing boiler drain and install a new full port brass drain valve to

facilitate complete purging.


Sub-Slab Line Abandonment:

Locate the supply line, feeding the underground slab loop cut above the

penetration and permanently cap off the inaccessible sub slab piping.

Above-Ground Reroute:

Press copper tope transition fittings on the existing supply line.


Supply and install oxygen barrier pex heating tubing for the above ground

reroute around framing/baseboard.


Securely mount pecks tubing, using insulated, suspension clamps, and protective

wall isolators.

Install self ceiling foam pipe insulation on accessible new piping runs.

System Testing:

Refill Heating circuit and perform a complete high velocity power purge to

remove trapped air via new boiler drain set up.

Re-pressurize system to standard cold operating pressure.

Verify operation of the new auto air vent, inspect all new press joints for leaks,

and test Heating zone for proper circulation and heat delivery.

Exclusions and Terms:

Existing zone valves, circulator pumps, expansion tanks, and main boiler safety controls not explicitly named in the scope are assumed to be operational. Any additional defective items discovered during refilling/purging will be quoted separately before proceeding.

Wall and floor penetrations required for routing will be made neatly, but final drywall patching, painting, or finish carpentry is the responsibility of the homeowner
