Homeowner called saying the system wasn't keeping up — running constantly but temps were drifting. Pulled the air handler cover and found the evaporator coil partially blocked with debris and a refrigerant charge sitting about 8 psi low on a 10-year-old Carrier R-410A unit. Cleaned the coil, located a small leak at the Schrader valve core, swapped the core, and recharged to spec. Cycled the system through a full run and monitored supply/return delta-T — landed right at 18 degrees, where it should be. Back to normal.
