Subject: Installation of New 3-Ton Cased Coil in Place of Existing. Replacement of Existing Filter Drier with New. Existing Line Set to Remain. Existing Ductwork to Remain. Existing Condenser R-410a is to Remain.



DESCRIPTION:
Shut down Line Voltage to existing Condenser.
Shut down Line Voltage to existing Furnace in Basement.
Recover existing R-410a refrigerant per EPA regulations and dispose.
Disconnect existing Line Set from Cased Coil.
Remove and dispose of existing 3-Ton Cased Coil in Basement.
Purchase and install one new Goodman 3-Ton Cased Coil R-410a B-Cabinet.
- PLEASE NOTE: R-410a equipment has been discontinued as of January 1st, 2025, but Evergreen Services was able to locate (1) and only (1) Goodman B-Cabinet 3-Ton Cased Coil and it is considered a special-order product. Vendors will not allow any returns or refunds on any special-order equipment.
Connect new Cased Coil to existing Ductwork in basement and seal ductwork to cased coil and seal Coil to existing furnace.
Flush existing Line Set with RX-11 Chemical Flush to ensure no contamination or restriction in existing Line Set.
Remove and dispose of existing Filter Drier on existing Line Set.
Purchase and install all necessary Line Set piping and fittings to connect existing Line Set to New Cased Coil and new Filter Drier.
Seal and insulate any ductwork that is installed by EPH. (Ductwork must be sealed with Mastic Tape or UL approved Mastic sealant and use R-8 Bubble Wrap to insulate ductwork installed by EPH.
Existing Ductwork is to remain.
Existing Line Set will be tested to ensure no refrigerant is leaking.
Fill and test all Line Set and Equipment with 300psi of Nitrogen to check for leaks.
Evacuate moisture from all Line Set down to 500 microns and preform Decay Test to ensure proper moisture levels in Line Set per manufacturers recommendations.
Open service valves and charge system to meet manufactures Superheat and Sub-Cooling.
Turn on system and test for proper working order.
