Water Heater Repair, Install & Replacement near Ross Hill Road in Charlestown, RI

Evergreen service arrived on site and response to the customer’s concerns regarding a water heater that has been leaking for an extended period upon water was found leaking from bottom of tank indicating an internal tank failure. The existing unit is a 50 gallon propane fired power ventured water heater located in basement due to conditions of unit Evergreen Services recommend replacing with a new 50 gallon propane, power vented water heater.
Evergreen Services will provide and install a new 50-gallon propane-fired, power-vented water heater to replace the existing failed unit located in the basement.

The scope of work includes shutting down and safely disconnecting the existing water heater from the water supply, propane gas line, electrical power, and venting system. The existing unit will be drained, removed from the property, and properly disposed of.

The new water heater will be properly positioned, leveled, and connected to the existing hot- and cold-water piping. Evergreen Services will reconnect and verify the propane gas supply, electrical connection, and manufacturer-approved power-vent exhaust system. All accessible fittings, valves, piping, vent connections, and required safety components will be inspected and upgraded as necessary to meet the manufacturer’s installation requirements and applicable local codes.

After installation, the tank will be filled and the water lines will be purged of air. All water and gas connections will be checked for leaks. The unit will then be started, tested, and inspected to verify proper ignition, burner operation, venting, temperature control, and overall system performance.

Any unforeseen conditions, additional repairs, or code-required modifications outside the original scope of work will be reviewed with the customer for approval before additional work is performed.
