Technican had recently installed a new shower cartridge in this customer shower valve. The original goal was to stop the dripping coming from the valve. It was a consistent drip out of the showerhead. After replacing the shower cartridge, the valve stopped dripping for a few days and then started to drip again. I came back, took the new cartridge out and found that inside of the valve had a lot of scale build up. I believe when I turn the water back on it is likely a piece of the scale stopped the cartridge from getting a perfect seal. I took the new cartridge out, cleaned up the scale to the best of my ability and then replace the cartridge. When I left, there was no dripping everything was in working order..
