Upon arrival, the customer reported that the furnace was not operating properly.

Performed a thorough inspection of the heating system, including checking electrical wiring, connections, and major operating components. During the inspection, found that the inducer draft motor was malfunctioning, preventing the furnace from operating correctly.

Repair Recommendation:

Recommend replacing the defective inducer draft motor assembly to restore proper airflow through the combustion system and allow the furnace to complete its normal heating cycle. After replacement, the system should be tested to verify proper ignition, venting, safety control operation, and overall heating performance.

Due to the furnace being approximately 21 years old, advised that additional repairs may be necessary as other components continue to age. Replacement of the furnace should also be considered as a long-term alternative to investing in major repairs on an older system.
