Evergreen Services was called out to property for No Cooling on 2nd floor.
Existing system is a R-22 Lennox 2.5-ton Coil and Condenser.
Upon arrival service expert found existing system is not running due to outdoor fan.
Tested capacitor on outdoor unit and found low MFD on Herm to Common and Fan to Common.
Disconnect existing capacitor.
Purchase and install one new Capacitor 35/5 MFD.
Once system is running perform evaluation on R-22 charge to evaluate system behavior.
Connect all 9 probes for measure quick to perform a system analysis.
Generate measure quick report for system and mark up to provide to customer.
Service expert found existing filter was clogged and needed to be replaced.
Install customer supplied filter in place of existing in attic.

After performing system test Evergreen Service found the following faults that need to be addressed:
- Extremely high Liquid Pressure (system could shut down on high pressure on a 90° + day.
- Very high subcooling. Lennox calls for sub cooling of 13°+/- 1. Subcooling is currently at 29.4
- High static pressure (Low airflow over evaporator coil).
- Possible restriction in liquid line or TXV.
- System seems to be slightly undersized for 2nd floor. ES would recommend a 3-ton replacement at time of install.


Evergreen Services recommends replacement of existing system Furnace, Coil, and Condenser with new for 2nd floor. Service expert will send an estimate for replacement by end of day 8/11/26.


No Warranty on Preexisting Equipment or New Parts Due to Age and Condition of System.
If replacement is completed within 12 months or 1 year from repair date todays service can be used as a credit off the total replacement.
