SUBJECT: Installation of one new Navien High Efficiency Tankless Hot Water Heater


DESCRIPTION:

Shut down hot and cold domestic water to home.

Drain potable water system.

Remove and dispose of existing 50-gallon natural gas fired water heater.

Remove and dispose of existing smoke pipe and cap chimney.

Disconnect natural gas line, hot and cold water lines.

Purchase and Install one New Navien 199K BTU 96% Comfort Flow Tankless Condensing Forced Draft Water Heater. Model: NAVNPE-240A2

Purchase and install ¾” Red and ¾” Blue Aqua Pex Tubing from existing water heater location to new tankless water heater.

Purchase and install all necessary piping, fittings and valves to complete project.

Purchase and install new 3” PVC piping and fittings for installation of venting on tankless water heater.

Purchase and install one Emergency Switch and Firematic at tankless to meet local mechanical code.

Turn on water to home and purge air from hot and cold water lines.

Turn on natural gas to check for leaks.

Preform system start up and set hot water temperature.
