I access the main drain line from a clean out in the basement
The slop sink in the basement had an incredibly slow drain. One of the washing machines was completely full of water from back up, and there was water on the floor. There’s a lot of buildup inside the cleanout. I had a 75 foot cable machine with me. I did two passes. Both passes brought back a collection of roots. Somewhere between the basement and the street there is a break in the pipe that’s allowed some root growth. Sneaking by itself will not actually get rid of the roots. The roots will eventually regrow. After the second pass, I started to run the slop sink. Slop sink is no longer backing up. I ran the water for several minutes with the clean out cap open, no water came back.

Remove rat from laundry sink drain line
use air plunger to clear out laundry sink
Access main drain line through basement clean out
Run laundry sink to make sure of proper flow to the main drain
