Customer called about a slow-draining bathroom sink that had gotten progressively worse. Tech pulled the pop-up assembly and found the pivot rod corroded through — it had dropped the stopper into a near-closed position and was trapping debris at the drain mouth. Replaced the pivot rod and stopper assembly, cleared the P-trap, and the drain ran full and clean before the tech left.
